Pettis County Community Partnership
Our Story
Pettis County Community Partnership, is committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 1996, PCCP has been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. Just imagine what we can achieve together! PCCP was formed to foster community collaboration to improve results for children and families by revitalizing human service initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of children and families, with the overarching goal of mitigating the perpetuation of generational poverty.
Pettis County Community Partnership is 1 of 20 Community Partnerships throughout Missouri that are part of the Family and Community Trust(FACT). FACT is a public-private non-profit partnership supporting community based collaborative efforts throughout Missouri. FACT and its 20 Community Partnerships are an effective, low-cost way for the state to get policy results, deliver services and improve the lives of children and families.
Our Future
PCCP is dedicated to building strong communities, neighborhoods, resilient children and families. We are changing our focus to include youth support by offering a fatherhood program, financial education and mentoring. We want to expand our efforts and create positive impact around the critical areas of mental health awareness, violence and suicide prevention for youth. The faces of the young embody our history, our current reality, and our future. No other group in society can rival the energy, idealism, enthusiasm, and courage of youth.
